Company Growth Leads to the Creation of Two New Positions

June 1, 2009—Northeast Editing, Inc., a full-service developer of electronic and print products for educational publishers, is pleased to announce three promotions in the month of June. Marie Devers, formerly senior editor, has been promoted to director of new business. Devers, who has been with Northeast Editing, Inc., since 2005, is now responsible for acquiring and maintaining relationships with new clients as well as implementing and managing new projects. Her background as a composition and literature instructor, a published author, and an innovative thinker have made her an asset to the company and will play an integral role in her new position. Devers holds a B.A. in English from Saint Joseph’s University and an M.F.A. from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.

In addition, Trilby Greene, formerly managing editor, has been promoted to editorial director. Greene joined the company in 2001 and has since risen through several positions, including four years served as managing editor. In her new role, Greene will work closely with company president Tracey Vasil Biscontini in client communications and project management and will continue to facilitate company growth and client satisfaction. She holds a B.A. in English from the Pennsylvania State University.

Taking Greene’s place as managing editor is Lindsay Rock, formerly senior editor. Rock, who has been with the company since 2003, will oversee many of the company’s daily operations and  work closely with in-house staff and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of quality educational products. Rock’s ascent through the company is largely due to her drive for success, high standards for quality, and outstanding editorial skill. Rock holds a B.A. in Journalism from the Pennsylvania State University.
