Northeast Editing, Inc. is a full-service content developer of digital and print products for educational publishers and testing companies. We specialize in assessment and are experienced in creating content aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).

We partner with publishers and testing companies to create high-quality assessments comprised of selected-response (SR), constructed-response (CR), and technology-enhanced (TE) items. We have created reading passages and items and science, math, and social studies items for testing companies working with the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium.

Our outstanding writing and editing skills set us apart from our competition. Because we are professional writers as well as educators, we are able to create publishable fiction passages, including poems and plays, and rigorous nonfiction passages. We also write and edit teacher guides, ancillaries, online courses, lesson plans, and library-reference products for readers of all ages.
